Workout Tips
Jump rope is a strong cardio option that also works several muscle groups. It mainly trains your lower body, but your core, shoulders, and arms are involved too. If you want to improve muscle tone while jumping rope, use targeted techniques and variations to challenge different areas.
Warm-up:
Begin with a 5-minute warm-up made up of dynamic stretching and light cardio moves such as jumping jacks, leg swings, arm circles, and high knees. This gets your muscles ready for a harder session.
Jump Rope Workout:
Complete each exercise for the listed reps or time. If you are new to it, use fewer repetitions first and build up as the movements feel easier.
Cool Down:
Once your jump rope work is done, cool down with static stretches to support flexibility and help lower muscle soreness.
