Workout Tips
Jump rope is a strong cardio exercise that also works several muscle groups at once. It mainly trains your lower body, but your core, shoulders, and arms are involved too. If you want more overall muscle tone from jump roping, use targeted techniques and variations to challenge different areas.
Warm-up:
Begin with a 5-minute warm-up using dynamic stretches and light cardio moves such as jumping jacks, leg swings, arm circles, and high knees. This gets your muscles ready for the harder work ahead.
Jump Rope Workout:
Complete each movement for the listed reps or duration. If you are new to this, use fewer reps at first and build up as the exercises feel easier.
Cool Down:
When you finish the jump rope session, cool down with static stretches to support flexibility and help limit muscle soreness.
