Lever Shoulder Press
Overview
How to do it
- 1
Set Up: Sit tall on the Lever Shoulder Press machine with your back pressed firmly into the pad. Set the seat height so the handles line up with shoulder level.
- 2
Hand Position and Alignment: Take hold of the handles with an overhand grip. Keep your arms out to the sides and facing forward, with your elbows directly under your hands.
- 3
Press Up: Drive the handles upward by fully extending your elbows. Push through your shoulders until your arms are straight overhead, but do not fully lock out your elbows.
- 4
Lower with Control: Bring the handles back down slowly to shoulder level, keeping tension and control the entire time.
- 5
Complete Repetitions: Do 8–12 repetitions per set, and keep every rep smooth and controlled.
