How to do it
- 1
T-bar rows are a strength training exercise that copies the motion of rowing a boat. Their purpose is to build the muscles that pull the arms in toward the body and the muscles that draw the shoulder blades toward the spine. The t-bar row can let you use more weight. Because of how this movement works, you can leverage more load.
- 2
The T bar works the entire back chain. It targets the latissimus dorsi, infraspinatus, trapezius, posterior deltoids and rhomboids, so including exercises such as barbell rows and t-bar rows in your training programs will help develop your back muscles.
