Lever T-Bar Row
Overview
How to do it
- 1
A T-bar row is a strength exercise that copies the motion of rowing a boat. It is designed to build the muscles that pull the arms in toward the torso, along with the muscles that draw the shoulder blades toward the spine. The T-bar row can let you use heavier loads. Because of this movement pattern, you can take advantage of greater leverage and lift more weight.
- 2
The T bar works the full back chain. It trains the latissimus dorsi, infraspinatus, trapezius, posterior deltoids and rhomboids. For that reason, adding movements such as barbell rows and t-bar rows to your training plan can help develop the back muscles.
