Cross Body Mountain Climber
Overview
How to do it
- 1
Set up in a high plank with your hands stacked under your shoulders and your body in a straight line from head to heels.
- 2
Tighten your core by pulling your navel toward your spine, and keep it braced for the entire exercise.
- 3
Raise your right foot from the floor and drive your right knee toward your left elbow, moving diagonally across your body.
- 4
While you draw the knee in, keep your core engaged and hold a solid plank position.
- 5
Send your right leg back to the start position, then repeat the same action on the opposite side at the same time.
- 6
Lift your left foot from the floor and bring your left knee toward your right elbow, crossing diagonally.
- 7
Perform the movement for the required number of repetitions or for the planned time interval.
- 8
Keep the tempo smooth and consistent, and focus on stable hips and an active core throughout.
- 9
Keep switching sides in one controlled, continuous motion, as if you are climbing a mountain.
- 10
Use a full range of motion, bringing your knees as close to your elbows as you can without losing form.
